This compelling presentation offers a reincarnation of Frida Kahlo's life, allowing her to narrate her own authentic story. The stage play delves into the creative process behind Frida Kahlo's remarkable artworks while addressing contemporary social and political issues. Otto Cifuentes is the composer behind the central musical theme and arrangements.

Having premiered in 2017, "I Am Frida Kahlo" is dedicated to delivering high-quality performing arts shows to audiences of all ages. Our team of experienced artists has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry.

The artistic ensemble of "I Am Frida Kahlo" comprises seven musicians, two singers, one actress, and three principal dancers. The role of the reincarnated Frida Kahlo is portrayed by Fernanda Kelly, a two-time Emmy Award winner and recipient of three Telly Awards, known for her role as a Univision Television host and on the best Spanish radio station in Los Angeles. Beatriz Eugenia Vásquez, an award-winning multifaceted dancer and choreographer, represents the dead Frida Kahlo, having earned distinctions such as The International GVII Award and The Excellence Award by Festival De La Calle 8. Other notable cast members include Reynaldo Santiago, an award-winning dancer portraying Diego Rivera, and Nadia García, an award-winning dancer and actor embodying Cristina Kahlo/Dolores del Río. Marvin Cayetano, the renowned Guatemalan singer known as the Romantic Voice of Antigua, adds his vocal prowess to the ensemble. Dora Lizet Prado, a vocalist of successful Latino bands, and seven remarkable musicians with experience in major orchestras and alongside world-renowned music directors complete the impressive lineup.
