His illustrious career is adorned with accolades, including the esteemed Premio Gabriela Mistral Prize and the prestigious John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Award. Citadel University bestowed upon him the Ignacio Galbis Prize for the Best Publication, and the Swiss Cultural Programme recognized his cinematic prowess with the Best Film Award.

The film "Soy soldado (Iraq)," a testament to his writerly prowess, garnered acclaim at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival, earning a special selection for "Un Choix en Moins de 6 Minutes." It further received the Cinema of Conscience Award at the Sonoma Film Festival and the Silver Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival, among other distinctions.

Froylán's literary contributions include his debut poetry book, "Detrás de la Cruz."
